I wrote "Sequel" for Hillary and Jordan's wedding on August 1, 2015 when it was used as the wedding party's processional. The original music "Sequel" represented the next phase of Hillary's and Jordan's life. It also serves as the sequel to the music I wrote for Hillary's senior choreography at the Alabama School of Fine Arts. Click here for a free preview.

Hugh (Ahuey) Alexander Hill is the sequel ozone of the original Hammerheads. Huey is the son of my son Thomas and his wife Caroline and the first in a series of grandchildren. May life be filled with love, joy, mischief and music. With love, Granddad.

Nursery rhymes, limericks, fairytales and old folk songs have no sequel themselves. They are just passed down from one generation to the next in the great sequel of life. The versus in Grandparent's Lullaby draw from the nursery rhymes that we all grew up with. The chorus is a recollection of how my siblings and I were lulled to sleep "back in the day."

Okay, not everything has a sequel. Some things like the prize in a box of Cracker Jacks or the stars in the sky are timeless and will always fit together no matter where you are. "We Fit Together" is another in a series of my Anniversary Songs. Hey, that makes it a sequel!

The metamorphosis from a tadpole to a bullfrog is one of nature's ultimate sequels. I wrote "Bullfrog" while learning how to play in open G tuning. I've always wanted to name a song "Bullfrog" and the cadence and tonality of this one seems to fit the bill!
